Every October around Halloween, Pilgrim High School hosts a ‘Trunk or Treat’ event, raising funds for the school. The event welcomes kids of all ages, collecting candy from several themed trunks made by Pilgrim students.

This event not only held numerous trunks, but also opportunities for games, food, and pictures. All of the visiting kids had the chance to dress up in their favorite costumes, going from trunk to trunk for endless pieces of candy. Each trunk had a different theme such as Scream, Candyland, pirates, Beauty and the Beast, and more. The event shaped so much imagination and creativity, from decorating the trunks to picking costumes.

Mrs. Place set up such an extraordinary event and opportunity for Pilgrim to build on their connection with the community, showcasing creativity and influence for younger children. The event was loved by not only the little ones, but the older ones who participated. Pilgrim hopes to host numerous more fulfilling events like this one, providing several opportunities for students to get involved.
