October 31, 2025, is one of the most spirited days of the year at Pilgrim High School. The halls and classrooms are flooded with seniors channeling their childhood selves, with costumes everywhere you look, even teachers joining the tradition! Dressing up for Halloween is one of the seniors’ exclusive privileges, and it leads to the parade and costume contest, where humor, nostalgia, and creativity are factors in determining the best costumes.
The auditorium was filled with the entire senior class, witnessing and cheering on participants from the senior class. Judges, Mrs. Napolillo, Mrs. Harvey, Dr. Guerra, Mrs. Casey, and Mrs. Cobb, took every costume into consideration, ultimately deciding on winners across various categories.
Individual Winners
- Rylie Girouard won the Scary Category as a Homemade Zombie.
- Anthony Fiske claimed the Funny Category as a Blind Referee.
- Elias Laporte took the Nostalgic and Iconic Category, portraying Michael Jackson.
- Declan Bragg also won as an individual with his Firefighter costume.
Small Group Winners
- Tiffany Blanco & Zoe Anderson won the Funny Category together, dressed as Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan.
- Laryssa Farrell & Lily Farrell claimed the Nostalgic and Iconic Category as Russel and Carl Fredricksen from Up.
Large Group Winners
- Chloe Atwood, Sarah Farhat, Caylee Jimenez, Reagan Kirejczyk, Emilia Koopman, Avery Marques, Carly Pettinicchio, Maddie Pettinicchio, and Shannon Weaver, along with teachers Mr. Rowe (as Gru) and Mrs. Zielinski (as Vector), won the Funny Category with a Minion-themed group.
- Michael Bessette, Michael Bryson, Jackson Monte, Sam Shelton, and Max Wiggins took home the Nostalgic and Iconic Category dressed as characters from Grown Ups.
Congratulations to all the winners and to every senior who participated! Everyone’s energy and creativity made this year’s Halloween Parade memorable! Hopefully, next year’s parade will be filled with just as much fun, laughter, and school pride.
