At the end of spirit week on October 3rd, all students in Pilgrim High School were called out of class early to go to the softball field where the Pilgrim Pep Rally was held. Students stood with each other to celebrate their Pilgrim Pride and get hyped up before the big homecoming football game and the homecoming dance.
As everyone circled around the field, the fall sports teams started making their very memorable entrances, the cross country team even had a member climb a ladder and crash onto a table from that ladder in a very glorious fashion. After that, pilgrim students that signed up for the event participated in different tournaments.

The first tournament was the egg toss. The way the egg toss worked was that two students would be teamed up and asked to throw and catch an egg, a successful catch would cause the participants to move up in the ladder and they would then have to walk backward and throw again, this repeated until juniors Brett Taylor and Chase DeGregorio won the egg toss!
The second tournament was the class tug of war. Each class had a team of four boys and four girls on their team. First the junior class faced the freshman class with the juniors winning and then the senior class faced the freshman class with the seniors winning. The final showdown between the senior class and junior class resulted in a junior victory, congrats Junior class!

The final tournament was a no-hands pie eating contest with one person from each class, everyone cheered for their classmates as senior Alex Mihalos seized the victory in the contest. What an amazing way to end the school day and start the homecoming weekend!
